Summer Training x2 2012 ~ GM Suggs
Due to overwhelming response to our
Summer event last year we will host two events to accommodate the demand. We
will a host a Summer event on the 23th of June 2012 and the 30th of June
2012. Pre-registration only 24th of May 2012 is the first deadline and the
30th of May 2012 is the second deadline. Please resister as soon as possible
as space is limited to the first 30 participants for these events.
At this time, fees will be the same as the last seminar,

Kukkiwon test for
6th & 7th Dan
Hi Senior
Grandmasters, Grandmasters, Masters, Instructors Black Belts, and
Students....
I hope this letter finds that everyone is in the best of health. On Friday,
13 January 2012 we will have a Kukkiwon test for 6th & 7th Dan. On Saturday
14 January 2012 we will have Hapkido training
all day with a UHF & Korean KidoHae black belt test to follow. The deadline
for pre-registration for the Hapkido seminar will be the 15th of December
2011. Remember the training is reserved for the first 30 people. We do this
to keep the class size down for a better learning environment.

Founder's Day 2011 ~ GM Suggs
Hello everyone, Founders Day is going to be
held in Swiss Home Oregon this year on June 25-26. More details will be made
available in the near future. It should prove to be a fantastic event and we
are expecting a very good turn out this year. Please begin to plan
accordingly and we hope to see you in June!!

Dear Grandmasters, Masters,
Instructors, and Students ~ I hope that this e-mail finds that you are all
in the best of health! I am sending out this reminder that May 31 is the
deadline for pre-registration for the all day Hapkido training. Further we
will have a Kukkiwon Black belt test on Friday the 24th of May. Please send
me confirmation in way of a payment to confirm your participation in the
Hapkido event.. We need to have a head count in order to properly prepare
for these events. Please tell your friends about this event because it is
open to all styles of martial arts. At the Hapkido training we will have a
meeting about the Korean Kidohae membership!
There will be more information on the United Hapkido Federation Website
and the United Hapkido Federation Facebook.
The kukkiwon test on Friday the 24th will be at 8:00 pm in order for all
people from out of town ample time to arrive and prepare for the test. I
will be available at 6:00 PM to help everyone prepare for the test.

Hi all, I just wanted to let every one know that my school finally has
a web site thanks to the hard work of Frank Purbeck's wife Kaerece. It
is still a work in progress but its worth checking out!! To all
instructors I would like to link to your school web sites, please send
me your web addresses and any others that you might recommend. You can
find us on goggle at:
South Sound Heuk Choo Kwan- Ji do Kwan.
We had a problem when we originally put the address up so you may see up
to three sites listed. Only one is the correct address. It is the one
with Kwan spelled correctly! Hopefully we can get rid of the bad
address' soon. Please look at it and send me any comments or
suggestions.

GM Suggs ~ appointments...
Dear Senior Grandmasters,
Grandmasters, Masters, Instructors, and Students
I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Master Charles Podzaline to
the position of West Coast Representative for the United Hapkido Federation.
Master Podzaline has been my student since the mid 1980's and has stood by
me. Further, he helped me host the Korean National Team when I hosted them
in 1987 in San Diego. I want to extend my best wishes to Master Bill
Williams with his move to the great state of Connecticut. Master Kennedy is
our East Coast Representative and is doing a wonderful Job! I also want to
welcome Master Mike Shaw of London, Ontario Canada to our organization. I am
looking forward to working more with Master Jack Fennessy when he moves to
Salem, Oregon soon. I have known him for many, many years going back to San
Diego, California. I am very pleased that our organization continues to
grow. We owe it to all of you for working together to benefit the common
good for all.

2010 West Coast Annual Seminar
results...
Hello Senior Grandmasters, Grandmaster, Masters, Instructors. and students
This years event was a big success! We had over 20 members during the two
day event. I want to thank Master Wilson and Master Nesky for a job well
done on promoting and hosting the event! In addition they both put on a
interesting and exciting block of instruction. I wish that we could have had
more members in attendance, however I know that everyone is dealing with
time and financial issues. I hope that all members will be able to come and
join me on the Central Oregon Coast for next years event. Next years event
will be on the 4th & 5th of June 2011. At this event I will bring in some
outside Grandmasters to conduct seminars. Don't miss this one!
